Amritsar: After being booked under rape charges, Sucha Singh surrenders before Gurdaspur court and the court has sent him to police remand till October 10. Certainly Langah’s case is a big setback for Akali Dal.

Now, Sarbat Khalsa Jathedars while issuing the Hukamnama dismissed Sucha Singh Langah, Shiromani committee member and former Akali Dal minister after being booked under rape charges from Sikhism.

On the other hand, orders has been passed to dismiss trust secretary, at Gurdwara Chhota Ghallughara Sahib, Chhambh Kahnuwan, Buta Singh, from Sikhism for sexually assaulting a woman.

Earlier, a meeting was held between Sarbat Khalsa Jathedars Bhai Dhyan Singh Mand, Bhai Baljeet Singh Daduwal, Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala, Bhai Major Singh and Bhai Suba Singh at Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

It is notable that Singh Sahibs have convened a general meeting on October 5 on Langah case, but Sarbat Khalsa Jathedars have issued their Hukamnama one day earlier from meeting.
