Video – Chandigarh :- Sikh youth’s turban removed, blame on traffic police


Chandigarh Police removed the turban of a Sikh youth and beat up his family on the road after refusing to pay a bribe. The police pulled over their car and attempted to get money from the family over window screening.

The Sikh family stated they rather have a ticket than give a bribe which frustrated the police officers. The police removed the turban of the youth’s father and than of the youth.

 After beating and turban removal a small clash occurred between the police and bystanders. A drama unfolded after local Sikhs gathered to protest against the police for violating religious rights.
