Punjab Police has been deployed in heavy numbers into Amritsar on the eve of the June 6 commemorative program at Sri Darbar Sahib and Sri Akal Takhat Sahib in memory of the June 1984 Shaheeds. Police chief Jatinder Singh Aulakh whilst speaking with the media told that the Police presence has been increased on the streets, railway and bus stations as well as other public places in order to correctly maintain law and order in the city. The Police will also be on high alert to avoid scenes from last year’s program were clashes took place between Sikhs and other people in disguise of Sikhs.
Inside complex, outside Akal Takhat Sahib. Thousands of Sikhs gathered together! We will never forget! Indian government will always fail! The Khalsa shall rise!
Let’s not forget what happened 31years ago! We still need justice! Government is trying hard for us to forget and not do a anything to remember! Good to see in Amritsar Sikhs are still going strong! We will always rise and get stronger.
