The relics of the Tenth Guru which were held by Nabha rulers for over 200 years has finally been taken out of Qila Mubarak in Patiala for the darshan of Sikh sangats in Punjab as they relics make their way to Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib.
The Punjab Sikh Council representative told reporters the politicians are taking this historic relic showing as an opportunity to garner votes for upcoming elections.
The representative said, “Guru Sahib relics were locked up for 6 years” and expressed that the sangat has finally given the chance to pay respects to the relics.
Politicians took advantage of Sikh sangat coming from across Punjab in large numbers to see the relics of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The atmosphere seemed more like a political rally then a parade showcasing historic artifacts.
