Chandigarh, June 26: Sikh Jatha headed by Chief of a Damdami Taksal faction Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala today met S. Simranjit Singh Mann at Cardiac centre of PGIMER, Chandigarh. The jatha inquired about the health of S. Mann and wished for his Charhdi Klaa.
The two Chiefs discussed about uniting all the Panthik organizations on common platform in support of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa to ensure the permanent release of political Sikh prisoners. It is notable that Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa is on hunger strike since January 16, 2015. Despite of oppressive attitude, Government had to recommend the transfer of Prof. Devinderpal Singh Bhullar and Bhai Gurdeep Singh Khaira to Punjab.
The meeting of two Panthik leaders is being considered as a preparation for the upcoming SGPC elections of 2016.
General Secretary of Sikh Youth Front S. Papalpreet Singh has said that collaboration of two brave and honest Panthik leaders will definitely benefit the Sikh community in tackling anti-Sikhism attacks. He wished for the unity of all Panthik organization on common platform for the Charhdi Klaa of Sikhism.
Dr. Sharnjit Singh Rataul (President, Sikh Youth Front), S. Papalpreet Singh (General Secretary, Sikh Youth Front), Bhai Navdeep Singh (SADA), Bhai Dilbagh Singh Nagoke, Bhai Sukhdev Singh Nagoke etc. was accompanying Bhai Ajnala on this eve.
