Ludhiana: The next hearing of the case on the attack on Sikh preacher Ranjit Singh Dhadarianwala‘s convoy to be held on August 21. The hearing was postponed due to the absence of any witness in the court.
Accused Gurvinder Singh and Amarjit Singh declared themselves as minor during first hearing . Court has received the Ossification report and according to the reports the accused were lying and found adults.
The accused had filed an application in court regarding the matter, in which they said that they are minor so their case should be handed over to the Juvenile Board.
On this, the Honorable Judge ordered the doctors of the Civil Hospital to conduct a test to determine their age or Ossification but accused were found to be adult. In addition, an application was filed under section 319 to issue summons to another person named Bhoma Singh in the same case by the prosecution.
