Guru Sahib Saroop stolen and buried in the ground in Rajasthan


(DSU News Bureau) Dera Sacha Sauda follower of Ram Rahim in Ganganagar, Hanumangarh Rajasthan stole a saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from Gurdwara Baba Deep Singh Ji in a brown sack and buried it in the ground. A sewadar noticed the saroop missing and immediately contacted the Sikh leaders of the area named Amritpal SIngh and Baba Goluwala.

The event occurred on April 17 and Sikh sangat started to look for the missing saroop but without any success. A person with information related to the suspect contacted the Gurdwara committee member Tajinder Pal Singh.

After receiving the information, the Singh contacted local Sikh leaders and Gurdwara members to meet regarding the issue. The group of Sikhs numbering over 25 headed towards the Dera Sacha Sauda in Rajasthan and started to protest outside.

The suspect was spotted but his dera counterparts also arrived on the scene. However, after seeing the angry Singhs, the face color of the Dera lovers changed immediately and they started sweating.

The suspect knew things were about to turn ugly and that’s when he confessed what he did.

He said he stole the saroop from Gurdwara Sahib in a brown sack and buried it in the ground. Immediately, police were contacted and arrived on the scene.

In front of the police, the dera lover stated that “Sikhs are enemies of the Dera, and I wanted to teach them a lesson and that is why I did this.”

A massive police force arrived on the scene and the suspect was brought to the police station to Sadhara. Baba Amritpal Singh Goluwala registered the FIR at the police station.

Afterwards, the Singhs contacted Jathedar of Takht Damdama Sahib who sent Panj Pyare to the area to take the saroop of Guru Sahib back to Gurdwara Baba Deep Singh in Ganganagar.
